How to Play "How to Love" by Lil Wayne

One of the new songs by Lil Wayne, "How to Love", has been riding the top charts for quite a while now.  It's pretty easy to play with the piano or keyboard, the only difficulty is that most of the melody is quite "rapped" and he does it significantly fast to be able to play it on the piano.

Here are the chords that I use for keyboard/piano:

B - BM7 - EM7 - Em6  (This cycles from start to finish)

For the guitar, I put the capo on the 3rd and use this chords (just a simple transpose of 3 half steps for the piano/keyboard chords)

G - GM7 - CM7 - Cm6 (You may use Cm instead of Cm6 for simplicity)

The Lonely by Christina Perri

Christina Perri has brought us the song Jar of Hearts, and now she is with another big hit titled "The Lonely". The piano accompaniment she used here is fairly easy to master because the notes are within hands reach (no need to jump from one octave to another) as with her previous hit song. The sample music is below.

The chords are fairly easy.

Intro:
Gm - D/F# - Eb - Bb, D
Stanza:
Gm - D - Eb - Bb, D (2x)
Eb, F, Bb, Gm, Eb, F, D
Chorus:
Gm - D/F# - Eb - Bb, D
Gm - D/F# - Eb - Bb - D
2nd Stanza Intro:
Gm - D/F#
Bridge:
Gm, F/A, Bb, Bb/D, Eb
Gm, F/A, Bb, Bb/D, Cm, Bb
Gm, F/A, Bb, Bb/D, EbM7
Gm, F/A, Bb, Bb/D, Cm - D

Skinny Love by Birdy

A very young musician by the name of Birdy has created this beautiful song titled Skinny Love.  The chords are really simple cycling from C#m-A-E partitions and E-G#m-C#m on some parts.  I've posted the music widget below so you can listen to it.

Price Tag by Jessie J Featuring BoB

When I first heard this song, I knew this was going to be a hit!  Well, got clues from the number of Youtube hits on the video too, LoL!  Jessie J is a really new artist and she's lucky to have a good collaboration with B.o.B., who's got some great collabs with artists like Bruno Mars (Nothing on You) and Paramore's Haley Williams (Airplanes).

The chords are very easy to play too:

F - Am7 - Dm - Bb (this repeats on every stanza and chorus)

Thanks for musictranscriber99 for letting me post this video (he's also linked his video here so double thanks!).  Get the first page here.  The complete sheets are sold here.

Alice by Avril Lavigne on Piano

Here's some sheets of Avril Lavigne that I worked on a while back.  Theses are relatively easy to play because of the repeating patterns of the left hand.  Get the sheets here:

Morning Sun (an original composition)

Here's one of my original works using the Yamaha PSR-K1. This was an older model of Yamaha that I bought at NY for a very cheap price of $270! What a great bargain for such a good investment. I did this music for an aunt of mine who just started her watercolor business at mygenuinedesigns.com (please check out this site for watercolor posters, they have all original work).

Although the video does not show my keyboard (as it does show our little piano). The PSR-K1 was what I used mostly during the creation of this composition. The latter parts, I used our piano.

The music has this serene and relaxing feel to it, as what my aunt wanted for her website since most of her pictures have lovely colors and warmth on them.

I have posted the notes to this composition here at these links. Feel free to use them but of course give credit to where it is due, as I still hold the copyrights to this piece. :) A link to this blogsite would be great!
